Bees Make Honey is murder-mystery set in England around 1934 in a haunted manor house. It tells the story of a young widow called Honey that secretly hires an investigator to solve the murder of her husband. The film plays on the eve of Halloween at the annual costume party that Honey throws for her high-society friends. Everyone attending was also there the previous year of her husband’s murder, which automatically makes all of them suspects. The rather shy inspector starts speaking to multiple guests at the party to find out who was involved in the murder. What appears to be a night of glamour, energy and fun, but as it turns out there are many other secret events on the agenda. The film is full of extravagance, wit and mystery and really encapsulates the spirit of the 1930s. Alice Eve plays the mysterious widow and has produced the film, whilst her brother, Jack Eve was the director. The siblings are joined by Wilf Scolding, Hermione Corfield, Josephine De La Baume and Trevor Eve. Sara Koller-Alonso
