The catch-22 of producing a film: you need a star talent to secure a budget, but you can’t attach a recognisable face to your film without offering them money in the first place. This panel discussion will focus on this problematic position that many producers find themselves in when financiers ask them to attach a name in order to get a green light for funding.

Panelists will include:

Nancy Bishop, CSA (moderator) is an Emmy-nominated casting director.

Alan Greenspan is an American producer, working in London. His credits include Fever Pitch, A Good Woman and High Fidelity.

Georgina Monkland is an agent at the acclaimed boutique management company 42, founded by Kate Buckley in 2013.
