In recognition of the plethora of filmmaking talent in China, Raindance is proud host China Day in conjunction with our Chinese partners, Dreamax - a Beijing based production and distribution outfit. China Day is a day of panel discussions on how filmmakers can access the Chinese markets, and how Chinese filmmakers can meet and work with European partners. Access is open for Raindance accredited filmmakers, industry and press.

After hearing from a range of speakers presenting on the Chinese Industry, Film Investment and Distribution, this panel will go onto host a QnA taking questions from the audience on wider topics including web and internet series and UK-Chinese Co-productions.

Both China and the UK both countries hold some of the most established Talent within the global film industry. This panel will explore how each country approaches nurturing talent, the legal status of Talent, how the relationship can grow between each country and what how Chinese talent would suit the landscape of European films?
