Unable to get back with his ex-girlfriend, successful print designer Alan Despot falls into a destructive pattern of drugs, heavy drinking, and depressive moods harming his professional and personal life. Deciding to visit his hometown for his aunt’s funeral, he revives his knotty but touching relationship with his father and stumbles across his first girlfriend. What he does not anticipate is that this journey will bring more uncomfortable truths from his past to the surface. He revives his relationship with his father, which carries additional tensions. He also crosses paths with his first girlfriend, now engaged to be married.
