Claire Battersby - Involve Film Marketing

Claire Battersby has recently started Involve Film Marketing – a consultancy set up to help filmmakers find the right audience for their film. Prior to this she worked as Director of Marketing and Publicity at film sales company Moviehouse Entertainment, as Head of Marketing at J&M Entertainment, at the Edinburgh and Los Angeles film festivals and Film Independent in LA. Claire has been involved in marketing and film festival campaigns for feature films for over 15 years. Campaigns include Julien Temple’s latest documentary The Ecstasy of Wilko Johnson, Peter Fudakowski’s Secret Sharer, Jesse V. Johnson’s American thriller The Beautiful Ones, as well as Nicolas Winding Refn’s Sundance thriller Fear X, Lenny Abrahamson’s comedy/drama Adam & Paul, UK music indie 1234, documentaries from Nick Broomfield and Britpop music doc Live Forever.

Aaron Wileman has worked with some of the world’s biggest brands such as IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Orange, 3 and more over the past 20 years. He brings a deep marketing experience that views the world from the perspective of the customer. His rich agency experience and knowledge of client side marketing enable him to identify content driven, brand aligned marketing opportunities in various entertainment properties that will enable brands to reach and engage powerfully with their desired target audiences.

We Are Colony (www.wearecolony.com): a new global film streaming platform connecting filmmakers to passionate fans, through the release of ‘special edition’ film bundles. The platform launched in early 2015 and now has registered users in 100+ countries. A former producer, Sarah’s work has been Oscar-nominated and BAFTA-winning. From 2010-2012, Sarah was Head of Content at Twig, a digital education production and VOD distribution company, now sold in 50+ countries and 15 languages. From 2004-2010, she founded and ran Clarity Productions, specialising in factual programming from around the world. Sarah is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, a member of BAFTA and the British Screen Advisory Council, and was voted in the British Interactive Media Association ‘Hot 100’ 2014.
