Laura Westcott is a classically trained musician and a member of the London Philharmonic. She has over eight years PR and communications experience, with her last role at The Times as PR Manager and Content Editor at News Corporation in New York. Moving forward, Laura is now the founder and CEO of Soundcheque, a global company that unites composers and filmmakers all over the world. Laura has a couple landmark events around the corner; she will be judging The BPI’s Next BRIT Thing. Laura is also undertaking a challenge to coincide with Soundcheque’s World Sight Day gala, ‘Sound for Sight, where she will be temporarily blind for one week.

Ivan Chandler is one of the UK’s leading music copyright consultants. He is also a music supervisor, music licensing executive, musician, composer, music publisher, trainer in music copyright and a forensic musicologist. He has worked in the entertainment industry for over 30 years including 8 years as European Manager of Motown’s music publishing division and 3 years as the music consultant to PACT (Producers Alliance for Cinema and Television). He also once played keyboards for Dusty Springfield, Cat Stevens and Kiki Dee. Ivan is the founder of Musicalities Limited, a music consultancy business trading now for 19 years. Musicalities clients have included Aardman Animations, 19 Entertainment, Universal Music, BBC Worldwide, Sir Michael Parkinson, Jamie Oliver’s Fresh One Productions, Channel 4, George Michael and numerous independent television & film companies.  Ivan is the author of “The DVD Music Licensing Guide”, the first publication of its kind.

Gemma Dempsey has over 20 years experience working in film, music, radio, events and non-profit both in London and Los Angeles.

Gemma was a Producer for the renowned LA radio station KCRW and has been a Music Supervisor for directors such as Danny Boyle , Mike Figgis and Bernardo Bertulucci .

Gemma has worked for Kobalt Music, Cutting Edge Music and in April 2014 Gemma joined as a Consultant and oversaw their launch in Los Angeles.

Her most recent film ‘Senza Nessuna Pieta’ (Without Pity) just screened at both  the Venice and Toronto Film Festivals.

Following a career as a guitarist, programmer and arranger, Mark joined the international film and television music company Air-­‐Edel in 1998. As a music agent / supervisor, Mark garnered a reputation for matching musical talent to productions and creating award winning soundtracks. Following supervision for Lee Tamahori’s TheDevil’s Double, Mark joined The Cutting Edge Group in 2011 as an Executive Music Producer, packaging composer / musical artists, along with overseeing supervision and financing of soundtracks, including Paul Haggis’s Third Person (Liam Neeson, Mila Kunis and James Franco), The Railway Man (Colin Firth, Nicole Kidman and Stellan Skarsgard) and more recently Carol (Cate Blanchett and Rooney Mara) and Belle (Tom Wilkinson, Emily Watson and Gugu Mbatha-­‐Raw). In 2014 Mark setup the company Asylum Giant, as creative hub to develop and produce a roster of Film, TV and Music projects with a close family of creative talent.
