Meet Ilija: veteran train driver and mass murderer. When the train driving community can forgive one another for accidentally killing family members, you know you're dealing with a strong bunch. Cool and collected, Ilija handles his misfortune as a matter of course, but when he spots a suicidal suitcase-wielding ten year old on the tracks who won't budge, he does everything in his power to help him. Fast-forward 9 years and orphan Sima is now Ilija's adoptive son. Popular in the close-knit community, Sima's graduation from locomotive training is highly celebrated but Sima is devastated to be told by Ilija - determined not to let Sima suffer the negative side of being an innocent murderer - he cannot be a train driver. Determined to prove he's strong, Sima gets his dream job but soon begins to obsessively fear his first kill. Can Ilija find a solution before Sima loses his mind? Miloš Radović triumphs with this must-see sensitive, funny and heartwarming portrayal of the psychology of innocent murderers. Black comedy seeps through to shed a lighter tone on suicide and killings as Ilija and his son learn to accept the past and embrace the future; and each other.
